Voitrix for macOS

Privacy Policy

Voitrix processes everything on your Mac. No audio, no text, no voice data ever leaves the device. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing to opt into.

What Voitrix does with data

Voitrix synthesizes speech from text using a neural model that runs entirely on your Mac's GPU via Apple's MLX framework. Voice references, synthesized audio, and all intermediate computations remain in local memory and on local storage. Nothing is transmitted to any server.

What is stored locally

Deleting the app removes all of this.

What is not collected — ever

Network access

Voitrix makes exactly one type of network request: downloading the OmniVoice model weights from Hugging Face on first launch. After the download completes, the app functions fully offline. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet — everything works identically.

App Sandbox

Voitrix runs inside the macOS App Sandbox with the minimum required entitlements: network client (for the initial model download), microphone access (for voice recording), and user-selected file access (for audio import and export).

Voice cloning ethics

Voitrix enables voice cloning — a powerful capability that requires responsibility. Do not clone someone's voice without their explicit consent. Do not use cloned voices for impersonation, fraud, or deception. The voices included with the app are original creations; voices you create are your responsibility.
